What’s New: Different Share Copy/Image Per Social Networks

Welcome back, ClearView Social aficionados! This week we are proud to announce a feature that has been requested for as long as I’ve been at Clearview Social: the ability to specify different copy and images for your shares per social network. Want to add a hashtag just for Twitter posts? #done. Want to add a more serious image for LinkedIn posts? Now you can!

Sharing an article example
Now, when you go to share, the default view, for convenience, is like it has always been: changes you make will be the same across LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. If you’d like different titles on LinkedIn and Twitter, slide the “Edit All Social Networks Together” toggle and you can edit each network individually.

The article will be shared using PeakTime example
You’ll notice that under the Twitter options, you can also further specify what your tweet says on the first, second, and third go-round. No more being locked into “ICYMI”, if you prefer to spell it out or leave it out entirely.

For Admins

If you’re an administrator, you’ll notice the Queue Builder area is condensed now.

Now, in the Queue Builder, you can also Queue items for your team to look different on LinkedIn, Twitter, and Facebook. Same as in the Share page, feel free to upload one image for use on LinkedIn, give it a shorter comment on Twitter, and use more casual copy on Facebook if you prefer.

There was getting to be more than one screen’s worth of metadata to edit for each queue item, which made dragging and dropping to rearrange impossible. Now, the default view condenses articles down to summaries so you can reorder easily. Use the compass grabber in the upper left to drag and drop for easy rearranging. To expand an item for editing all its properties, use the two-direction arrow in the upper right.

As always, our support team is standing by for any questions! Use the chat bubble in the lower right corner to tell us how you like this feature.
